QVideoob¶

QVideoob is a graphical application (part of Weboob) to search videos on supported websites (see CapVideo) and to get direct URLs for videos or play them.

Get QVideoob¶

This application is a part of Weboob. Download it and install it with:

$ ./setup.py install

For more information about installation of Weboob read this page.

Dependencies¶

In addition to weboob dependencies, QVideoob requires:

• python-qt4
• python-qt4-phonon

Search videos¶

On top of window, type a pattern to search on backends to get videos. Press <Enter> and they will be displayed in a list.

Play video¶

You can click on a search result, or enter an absolute URL on bottom of window and press <Enter>.

Then, a window is opened and the video is played.

Hide NSFW videos¶

If you are at work, or if you are under 18, you probably don't want to display porn videos. You juste have to uncheck the Display NSFW videos box.
